Mercdoc and the team are amazing, though was skeptical at first. After my 2010 C200 got stuck, the dealer advised me to tow it in to their Bedfordview workshop in order to do the diagnostics. I made the booking with the dealer, whereas Mercdoc gave me diagnostic based on limited information I gave through this website. He gave me few options to get the car moving, based on my budget. Couldn't afford towing the car, so Melvyn drove to my place in Birchleigh, stripped the parts and worked on it at their workshop and the following day the car was working. Mel kept me posted throughout the whole process Now I know where to go and refer friends & colleagues whenever problem such as this occur. A big thank you to Mercdoc for getting me mobile again the same day with my 2010 GL350 after the ignition lock started giving me trouble just before I was about to leave on a weekend away with the family. Guys, the first time I read about Mercdoc I thought that its one of those SA scams. I had a steering lock failure on my C220 2008. The Merc agency in Bloem qouted me R25 472.34 to fix it and ask to be given four days to complete the job as they need to replace the whole steering loc. I went to their workshop to tow my car and on arrival they discounted me by R10 000 from their original quote of which a refused. I towed the car to Mercdoc, arrive 15H30 and my car was ready 15H50 with 80 discount including expenses to tow it. No replacement of the whole unit, No waiting period of 4 days plus I got the spare key for my car now. Guys the guy is good and knows his story.

Being a Merc owner with a W202 97 C class c230, my old key was beginning to die a slow death until it packed up 2 days ago, at a shopping center. Not able to get back into the car, i asked the Merc dealership down the road to assist, and they told me a new key would cost 3900 and 3 weeks to arrive. I lost my only key for my C240 2002 model. I went through 2 locksmiths and the first one somehow corrupted the EIS and the 2nd guys couldnt do the programming until MERCDOC came to the rescue.I got my newly programmed EIS and key at an excellent rate and everything within 24 hours. Thank you Mercdoc. i have 2001 CLK 320. the key broke on 24 December 2014, i tried every option and suggestions to get my vehicle sorted but failed. a month later i called Mercdoc and he said bring the key and he will sort it out. i drove from Kempton Park to Vereeniging, 40 minutes later i had 2 sets of keys at a excellent price.
